SIEM that turns logs into decisions
Your firewalls, servers and endpoints already generate the evidence of an attack. We deploy and configure SIEM platforms to collect it, correlate it and raise the alerts that matter, with the retention your auditors expect.
Log collection, correlation and detection, designed around your environment
We implement SIEM as a working detection capability, not a product install. That means onboarding the right log sources, normalising them, writing and tuning correlation rules for the threats that matter to you, setting retention to your obligations, and documenting it all so your team can run and extend it. Running security operations around the SIEM is a separate service: SOC implementation and support.
Logs are scattered across systems
Without central collection, an attack's trail is spread across a dozen consoles that nobody checks together.
Too many alerts, too little signal
A SIEM installed with default rules floods analysts with noise and still misses what matters to your environment.
Compliance needs log retention
Regulators and CERT-In directions expect logs to be kept and produced on request.
What's included
- Real-time log ingestion and normalisation
- Correlation and anomaly detection
- UEBA for insider and credential misuse
- Network behaviour anomaly detection
- SOAR automation and case management
- Threat intelligence enrichment
Our technology partners
We resell, implement and support these platforms. Our recommendation depends on your environment, existing investments and budget, not on a preferred vendor.
How Provision delivers siem
Onboard sources
Firewalls, Active Directory, endpoints, servers and cloud feed logs into the SIEM.
Normalise
Events are parsed and enriched so they can be searched and correlated.
Correlate and tune
Rules and analytics link related events into meaningful alerts, tuned to cut noise.
Hand over
Dashboards, reports, runbooks and training, so your team can operate it.
What is the difference between SIEM and a SOC?
A SIEM is the technology that collects and correlates logs and raises alerts. A SOC is the team and processes that watch those alerts, investigate and respond. This page covers SIEM; building and supporting a SOC is our SOC implementation and support service.
Does a SIEM implementation include monitoring?
No. Implementation covers deployment, log onboarding, rules, retention, dashboards and handover. Monitoring the alerts day to day is done by your SOC team, or arranged separately under a SOC or managed security service.
Which SIEM platform should we choose?
It depends on your log volume, sources, retention needs, in-house skills and budget. We compare suitable platforms and recommend the one that fits, including whether a lighter log management tool is enough.
How long does a SIEM deployment take?
A focused deployment with core log sources typically takes several weeks. Larger estates are onboarded in phases so you get value early.
