Cybersecurity Engineer (SOC, VAPT and AI Security)
Monitor, investigate and test client environments across SIEM operations, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, and emerging AI security risks.
Responsibilities
What you will do.
- Monitor SIEM alerts, triage and investigate security incidents
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on networks and web applications
- Write clear reports with prioritised remediation
- Tune detection rules and contribute to SOC runbooks
- Assess security risks in AI-enabled applications and workflows
Requirements
What you bring.
- 3 to 4 years in SOC operations, VAPT or both
- Hands-on experience with at least one SIEM platform
- Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap and Nessus
- Understanding of networking, Windows and Linux security
- Willingness to work rotational shifts when required
Nice to have
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, Security+ or vendor SIEM credentials
- Scripting in Python or PowerShell
