Business Development Executive (BDE) – IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Executive (BDE) with 2–5 years of proven experience in IT Infrastructure, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Managed Services sales. The role involves managing existing customer accounts and generating new business opportunities in Kolkata and Eastern India. This is a target-driven role covering both field and inside sales.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead Generation: Proactively generate new business opportunities through a variety of methods, including cold calling, networking, industry connections, and personal referrals.
    • Execute GTM Strategy: Execute a pre-defined go-to-market (GTM) strategy with the support of management to identify and engage with high-potential prospects.
    • Sales Cycle Management: Guide prospects through the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and deal closure.
    • Collaboration: Work closely with our technical team for pre-sales presentations, demos, and solution pitches.
    • Account Nurturing: Manage a select number of existing customer accounts to ensure renewals, identify upsell opportunities, and build strong relationships.
    • Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, pipeline status, and forecasts to management on a regular basis.

Training & Ramp-up Period:

    • Month 1: Foundation & Training – Get comprehensive training on our company’s solutions, sales processes, and the target market. No sales targets.
    • Month 2: Pipeline Building – Focus on customer mapping, warm-up calls, and shadowing senior team members to build your initial sales pipeline. No sales targets, but a formal progress evaluation will be conducted.
    • Month 3: Break-Even – Demonstrate the ability to close initial deals and achieve revenue equivalent to your base salary.
    • Month 4 onwards: Consistent Growth – Consistently deliver profit-generating sales and contribute to the company’s growth.

Requirements:

    • Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience in IT Sales, specifically in system integration, IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or managed services.
    • Networking: Strong networking ability with a demonstrated track record of building a personal sales pipeline from scratch.
    • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Hindi, and Bengali.
    • Sales Mindset: Ability to handle B2B clients, rejections, and negotiations professionally. Must be self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with both field visits and inside sales.

Compensation & Growth:

    • Base Salary (₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month) + performance incentives.
    • Clear growth path: Business Development Manager → Head of Sales.
    • Exposure to enterprise accounts, cybersecurity, IT infra solutions, and managed services.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

    • Education: A Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
    • Industry Background: We prefer candidates who have experience working in the following industries:

    • IT Security
    • Age: 24–32 years, though we are flexible for a highly experienced candidate.
    • Location: Must be based in Kolkata or willing to relocate.
