We’re seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive IT infrastructure hardware and software sales growth in the Kolkata (rest of West Bengal), Odisha, Bihar and Jharkhand markets. Leveraging your 4+ years of experience and deep technical knowledge, you’ll identify, develop, and close deals with key accounts in the region.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Any Graduate. BE, B.Tech, BCA, BBA preferred
- 4+ years of experience in IT Hardware and Software Sales
- Experience in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand and North East market
- Ready set of customers
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth in the specified market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners
- Identify new business opportunities and lead generation initiatives
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of sales strategies
- Stay updated with industry trends and market developments
Required Skills:
Excellent sales knowledge of hardware products including:
- Hardware: Servers, Storage (RAID, HBA, iSCSI, LUN), HCI, HPC, Networking (network rack, switches, routers, access points, controllers etc)
- Software: Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), Network Monitoring (ManageEngine, SolarWinds), Endpoint Management (ManageEngine, Soti, IPM+), Backup (Acronis, Veritas, Veeam)
- Prior experience working in the Kolkata and West Bengal markets is mandatory.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strategic thinking with a hunter mentality to secure new clients.
