The Business Development Executive will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and developing new opportunities within the IT services and cybersecurity solutions space. This individual will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, as well as prospecting for new business through cold calls, client visits, and relationship-building activities. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry and the ability to articulate the value of our IT and cybersecurity solutions.
- New Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in need of managed IT services and cybersecurity solutions.
- Generate leads through cold calls, emails, and other outreach methods.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the IT services and cybersecurity industry.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Ensure client satisfaction by understanding their needs and providing exceptional service.
- Cross-sell and upsell additional IT services and cybersecurity solutions.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay updated on the latest IT services, endpoint protection software, firewalls, email security, and data loss prevention solutions.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of our offerings to clients.
- Sales Presentations:
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Address client questions and concerns, providing solutions and value propositions.
- Sales Targets:
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas.
- Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing team to develop strategies for success.
- Market Intelligence:
- Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends.
- Provide feedback to the organization on market dynamics and customer preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance and progress to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
- B.Tech/B.E. B.Com, MS/M.Sc, M.Com, MCA, MBA/PGDM.
- Minimum experience of 3 years is a must. More than 3 years of experience will be a plus.
- Proven experience in sales and business development in the IT or software industry.
- Strong knowledge of IT services and cybersecurity solutions, including endpoint protection software, firewalls, email security, data loss prevention, etc.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel for client visits and industry events.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
